Landscape Protected Areas County Nordsachsen (WMS Service)

The metadata set describes all legally binding areas in which special protection of nature and landscape is necessary for the conservation, development or restoration of the performance and functioning of the natural balance or the ability to regenerate and sustainable use of natural goods, including the protection of habitats and habitats of certain wild fauna and flora, due to the diversity, character and beauty or the special cultural historical significance of the landscape or because of its special importance for recreation (§ 26(1) of the Federal Nature Conservation Act). Currently, they are in the Lkr. Northern axles 16 areas with a total area of approximately 927 square kilometres. Responsible for the expulsion is the Landratsamt Nordsachsen as the Lower Nature Conservation Authority.
