PeruFoodNet - A Traditional Peruvian Food Dataset

PeruFoodNet is a dataset consisting of 4000 images of traditional Peruvian dishes. This dataset includes 40 different types of dishes, with 100 images for each dish. The objective of this dataset is to train deep learning models for the identification and classification of dishes, as well as the future inference of allergenic ingredients through a chatbot integrated into a social media platform. The collected images exhibit a variety of presentations, settings, angles, and lighting conditions, which will facilitate more effective learning.
