Road signs (data type 506) in the road register

The data covers the road network maintained by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. For this type of information, all permanent road signs, signs, signposts, guidance boards, detachment and background signs, as well as their type, attachment, material and condition, located along the road and pedestrian routes, shall be invented. Traffic signs of service areas and stops, as well as the top triangles of private road connections (231) and stop signs (232) will also be invented. For non-standard traffic signs, the area and photographs are taken (365, 611-614, 616-642, 645-650 detours, 661 and 662, and signboards 701-704a for service sites). The information content of signs, guidance signs, restrictions and additional plates in so far as it cannot be deduced from the number of the sign and the numbers of the signpost symbols (711-774f) corresponding to any signage symbols contained in the service objects’ signposts (701-704a) shall be entered in the text field.
