Addendum Data for "Three-Dimensional Reconnection Spreading in Current Sheets of Non-Uniform Thickness"

This contains the processed simulation data in normalized units (see Sec. 3 for details)

by-yzcuts-csv.zip contains the 2D data used for the ZY cuts of the reconnected (normal) component of the magnetic field By for two 3-D simulations shown in Fig. 5. These are CSV arrays with size 256 x 1024 (Z x Y) where by-yz336.csv (fig. 5 panel a) is for the simulation with uniform current sheet thickness 2di taken at a time t=280, and by-yz345.csv (fig. 5 panel b) is for the simulation with non-uniform thickness varying from 1 to 2di taken at a time t = 170. The z coordinate ranges from -127 to 128 in steps of size 1, the y coordinate ranges from -25.6 to 25.55 in steps of size 0.05, and both cuts are for the x = -27.6 plane (2 di downstream from the x-line location). The color bar is saturated at a value of B_y = 0.01 to resolve the very weak magnetic fields spreading in the out-of-plane direction.
