A comprehensive literature-based dataset for Phytophthora infestans (Oomycota: Peronosporales) isolates and oospores across Europe

The document contains two data sheets available for download: 1. Sheet Literature dataset: containing the bibliographic references of the articles from the refined systematic literature review and later assessed for eligibility; 2. Sheet Data extraction dataset: containing data extracted from the eligible articles, deriving both from the systematic literature review and from the EuroBlight website. This dataset is divided into three color-coded sections: i) “References” (grey) contains the most important bibliographic information from Literature dataset to identify the source of the extracted data; ii) “Trials” (pink) provides spatial information on the location where the isolates were retrieved, including the NUTS and LAU names and codes, and other information on the crop and the sample type; iii) “Results” (yellow) shows quantitative data on the percentages and numbers for A1, A2 and self-fertile mating types related to previous spatial data, with additional information on the investigation of oospores in the field and laboratory experiments.
