Effects of the Chinese herbal medicine Zishen Huoluo formula (ZSHLF) on miRNA expression in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs).

To investigate the changes of miRNA expression in SHRs by the Chinese herbal medicine Zishen Huoluo formula intervention. Overall design: miRNA-seq analysis of left ventricular in rats. The treatment assignments were as follows: 5 male Wistar-Kyoto Rats were used as a blank control group (WKY), and 10 male SHRs were divided into SHR control group (SHR) and ZSHLF intervention group (ZSHLF). Both WKY anf SHR groups were treated by normal saline. The treatment lasted for 4 weeks.
