Dataset of article submitted to JGR-Oceans Upwelling regulates nutrient supply and phytoplankton chlorophyll-a regime on the East China Sea shelf during late summer

This dataset provides the shipboard hydrological and biochemical data obtained on the East China Sea shelf in late summer. The cruise was conducted onboard the R/V Xiangyanghong No. 18 during September 12 to 24 in 2019. There are two sheets in the Data Table, including “CTD” and “Nutrient and chlorophyll-a”. The sheet of “CTD” contains temperature, salinity and density in a vertical spacing of 1 m for each station, while the sheet of “Nutrient and chlorophyll-a” contains DIN (Dissolved inorganic nitrogen), phosphate (PO43--P), silicate (SiO32--Si) and chlorophyll-a at discrete depths.
