Slovene Public Opinion Survey 1970/71

In first block of questions interviewees assess their welfare and present plans for its improvement. Next, they state their opinion on which institution should take care of economic and social problems or to provide for underdeveloped Yugoslav republics. Question on emigration of Slovenes into Western countries (i.e. reasons for departure and domicile country), followed after. A special chapter covers education that is respondent compares possibilities for schooling of that time with that of ten years previous. Next, questions on national security (i.e. defence capabilities) and assessment of Yugoslav interior and foreign policy can be found. Last four chapters cover proficiency in various foreign languages, insurance for pension, attendance to the mass media, and values that establish individual's social prestige. As usually, questionnaire ends with demographic questions.
