16S rRNA gene sequencing of cecal contents from SPF C57BL/6N mice which were either fed normal chow diet or exposed to Allura Red AC via the diet. Independently, germ-free (GF) mice were orally inoculated with cecal contents from the mice that were fed normal chow diet or exposed to AR via the diet. After a 21-day colonization period, fecal samples were collected in the ex-GF mice.
