Religious affiliation by age group El Salvador in 2020

A survey conducted in El Salvador showed that the highest share of believers between 15 and 40 years old followed different branches of Evangelism. Among respondents who were 41 years old and above, the Catholic faith predominated. The generation breach is marked by atheism or the lack of religion, a rare option among those aged 41 or more, but fairly generalized among younger generations. Further, it was shown that the share of Evangelists is growing in El Salvador in recent years.
