Supplementary Datafile to "The health, environmental, and cost implications of providing healthy and sustainable school meals for every child by 2030: a global modelling study with country-level detail"
收藏资源简介:
The dataset contains the full set of results produced for the paper "The health, environmental, and cost implications of providing healthy and sustainable school meals for every child by 2030: a global modelling study with country-level detail" by Marco Springmann, Manasi P Hansoge, Linda Schulz, Silvia Pastorino, and Donald A P Bundy, published in the Lancet Planetary Health in 2025. It includes the health, environmental, and cost results for changes in the coverage of school meals by country. The set of school-meal scenarios include (for every country) different scenarios on school meal coverage, the number of school meals provided per school day, the dietary composition of the meals provided, and the amount of waste associated with their preparation. The estimated impacts include (for every country) changes in undernourishment; changes in diet-related disease mortality in adulthood; changes in environmental impacts including on greenhouse gas emissions, land use, water use, and euthrophication potential; changes in meal-related costs; and changes in external costs related to climate change damages and costs of illness.
