Nuclear charge radius residuals (the differences between experimental and calculated nuclear charge radius) of five commonly used models: (i) the Weizs\"acker-Skyrme model WS$^\ast$, (ii) Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov model HFB25, (iii) HFB25$^\ast$ model, (iv) relativistic continuum Hartree-Bogoliubov theory, (i) the isospin dependent $A^{1/3}$ formula. In the WS$^\ast$ and HFB25$^\ast$ models, the charge radii were calculated using a five-parameter formula in [T. Li, Y. Luo, and N. Wang, At. Data Nucl. Data Tables 140, 101440 (2021)] with the nuclear shell corrections and deformations obtained from the WS and HFB25 models, respectively. These nuclear charge radius residuals can be used in the machine learning approaches.
