This dataset includes numerical simulation results and field data supporting the findings of the article 'Rapid Downhole Measurement of Permeability Anisotropy: Methodology and Case Study'. The data are presented in the following tables within the main text and Appendix A: simulation case matrix, pressure response results for three probe geometries (a, b, c), and field validation data from a Norwegian Sea exploration well.
