Flood hazard zone plan Vienna

Overview of flood risk areas for flood events that occur statistically once in a hundred years. The designations are based on precipitation and discharge studies for the respective catchment area of the river. The flood-prone areas are divided into different zones in accordance with the technical guidelines for the Federal Water Engineering Administration (Bundeswasserbauverwaltung BWV). Hazard zone identification: Red zone = no building zone, red-yellow zone = retention, drain and water management zone, yellow zone = bidding and prevention zone, blue zone = water economy demand zone
