A users’ perspective on climate model data challenges - full survey responses

Survey assessing users' experience performing research with data generated
by Phase 5 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP5). These users
belong to increasingly diverse communities of scientists that, thanks to CMIP,
have access to output from coordinated climate simulations allowing them to
explore questions regarding climate variability and change in a systematic
fashion. We designed the survey with the objective of identifying: 1) issues
hindering productivity and research scope and 2) the best infrastructure
solutions that could increase users' productivity. The survey was distributed
among CMIP users from July 2015 to January 2016. This file includes 261
complete anonymized replies to the survey. Column descriptions are provided in
the commented (#) lines at the top of the file. Full details provided in the
