MicroRNA expression study on samples from surgically treated breast cancer patients

Individualized outcome prediction classifiers were successfully constructed through expression profiling of a total of 677 genes in 52 breast cancer samples. In the study presented here, a consecutively operated, well-defined cohort of 52 breast cancer cases and 4 matched normal breast tissues, was used to acquire expression profiles of a total of 677 unique genes, leading to the successful construction of supervised classifiers.
