该数据集是长江三角洲地区内江苏省1988年市县社会经济统计数据。根据江苏省统计年鉴及其他统计资料辅助整理获得，分经济：地区生产总值（当年价）、社会总产值（亿元）、工业总产值（亿元）、工业总产值（老口径）、工业总产值（新口径）、农业总产值（老口径）、农业总产值（新口径）；社会：年末总人口（万人）、非农人口（万人）、国民收入（亿元）、农民人均纯收入（元）、农民家庭平均每人每年收入情况（元）、农民家庭平均每人每年支出情况（元）、城镇居民家庭平均每人平均每年生活费收入（元）、年末城镇居民储蓄额（万元）等方面。根据中国知网《江苏省统计年鉴1989年》及其他统计资料进行整理获得。

This dataset contains socio-economic statistical data at the city and county levels of Jiangsu Province within the Yangtze River Delta region for the year 1988. It was compiled with reference to Jiangsu Statistical Yearbook and other relevant statistical materials. The dataset encompasses two major categories: economic indicators and social indicators. The economic indicators include: gross regional product (at current prices), total social output value (100 million yuan), total industrial output value (100 million yuan), total industrial output value (old statistical caliber), total industrial output value (new statistical caliber), total agricultural output value (old statistical caliber), and total agricultural output value (new statistical caliber). The social indicators include: total population at year-end (10,000 persons), non-agricultural population (10,000 persons), national income (100 million yuan), per capita net income of farmers (yuan), per capita annual income of rural households (yuan), per capita annual expenditure of rural households (yuan), per capita annual living income of urban households (yuan), and savings deposit balance of urban residents at year-end (10,000 yuan), among others. This dataset was further organized based on the *Jiangsu Statistical Yearbook 1989* from CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) and other supplementary statistical resources.
