The Act did not stipulate that minutes of meeting of District Road Boards should be made, but many District Road Boards maintained records of their meetings in the form of minutesThe minutes record the proceedings together with the names of all board members present. Subjects include the drafting of byelaws, rate notes, accounts, contracts, and Hanging Rock.
