Electronic Supplement to: Investigation of Earthquake Site Response in the Gulf and Atlantic Coastal Plains

This repository contains the electronic supplementary materials associated with the report Investigation of Earthquake Site Response in the Gulf and Atlantic Coastal Plains. The materials include (1) project data used in performing site response analyses, and (2) Appendix A materials containing interactive HTML maps and presentation slides summarizing the work. The project_data folder provides the geometric boundary definitions used in the study, the ground motion database (events, records, and stations), shear-wave velocity profiles by geologic group with modified depth-dependent logarithmic standard deviations, statistics of site amplification factors (SAFs), and additional calculated spectral outputs for rock, including rock FAS and rock SA from two approaches across a wide range of frequencies. The appendix_A folder contains interactive maps of event terms and site terms (at 1 Hz and 10 Hz) that are based on residuals defined by FAS and PDFs of presentation slides showing figures in addition to those in the report. These data support the analysis and results presented in the report and can be used by researchers studying earthquake site response, site amplification factors, or the development of ground motion models in the Gulf and Atlantic Coastal Plains. Detailed documentation of file contents, sources, and licensing is included in the accompanying README file within the repository.
