Bus stop

The data product consists of phenomena of the type Keeper that belong to the product group STVDB and the product subgroup Other phenomena in STVDB. Stop means a stop for passenger services. The stop is common to all bus stops at the current stop and is a virtual place. The purpose of the data product is to keep common data for all the stop positions at each stop and to represent stop positions in a generalised way. The data product will support activities such as planning, operation and maintenance, as well as clarifying which state stops/stations are adapted for people with different disabilities. The data product shall be able to facilitate the provision of information on adapted stops/stations when travelling on public transport for persons with disabilities. Furthermore, the data product (regardless of the road carrier) shall be capable of being used by blue light operations and others who need positioned stop names.
