Associations between diet quality, epigenetic aging and epigenome: Findings from two population-based Studies
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains epigenome-wide association study (EWAS) summary statistics for ten diet quality scores from the Rhineland Study, a population-based cohort (n = 5,768 participants). Traits included (diet quality scores): Mediterranean Diet Score (MDS), Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH), Mediterranean–DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay (MIND), Alternate Healthy Eating Index (AHEI), Nordic diet score, Plant-based Diet Index (PDI), Healthful Plant-based Diet Index (hPDI), Unhealthful Plant-based Diet Index (uPDI), Dietary Inflammatory Index (DII), and EAT-Lancet diet score. The repository also includes generic scripts, adapted for general use, for calculating adherence to the diet quality scores, performing the EWAS analyses, generating the descriptive tables, and fitting the linear regression models for the associations between the diet quality scores and epigenetic aging outcomes. This work accompanies the manuscript "Associations between diet quality, epigenetic aging, and the epigenome: Findings from two population-based studies."
