1. Introduction
The PEST_AI Plant Leaf Disease Recognition Dataset is a comprehensive leaf image dataset designed for AI-powered plant disease identification. It aggregates data from multiple public sources including PlantVillage, PlantifyDR, Solanaceae, cabbage, lettuce and others, containing over 60,000 RGB images with a resolution of 256×256 pixels. The dataset covers 8 crop species: tomato, potato, bell pepper, citrus, corn, eggplant, cabbage and lettuce, with corresponding categories for various diseases and healthy states. Its structure is compatible with end-to-end training of computer vision pipelines such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Vision Transformers.
