Diatoms from disconnected pools in temporary rivers (Catalonia, Spain)

This dataset includes 53 sites encompassing diatom counts and associated water chemistry parameters from disconnected pools from temporary rivers (Catalonia, Spain). Diatom data represents epilythic samples collected from May to September in 2021. The dataset has been formatted following the standards of the Tropical South American Diatom Database (https://zenodo.org/records/5721364)--a database constituent of Neotoma (www.neotomadb.org), a global community-curated database by regional experts for multiple types of paleoecological data--and as part of the project "DiatomS mEEt Databases: resources and practices to enable large-scale ecological research (SEED)" funded by the International Society for Diatom Research (https://isdr.org/early-career-networking-award/).
