Paper data on the synergistic effect of xylose and gentamicin in eliminating antibiotic-resistant Escherichia coli by enhancing drug uptake

The increasingly severe crisis of antibiotic resistance urgently requires innovative strategies to activate the efficacy of existing antibiotics. This study aims to address the issue of antibiotic resistance in Escherichia coli through natural and safe metabolic reprogramming mediated by monosaccharide xylose. The data of this study was recorded in raw file format and plotted using software such as GraphPad Prism 8.0. According to the type of experiment, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) or two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) is used for statistical analysis. All error bars represent mean ± standard error, and the significance level is indicated by * P<0.05, * * P<0.01, * * * P<0.001.
