Chromobox homolog protein 4 (CBX4) exhibits anti-inflammatory effects and shows promising therapeutic potential. Thus, in the present study, we explore the role of CBX4 in IDD. Overall design: For RNA sequencing, total RNA was extracted using Trizol from 4 groups of rat NP cells, i.e., control cells, CBX4-overexpressing cells, TNF-α-stimulated cells, and CBX4-overexpressing cells stimulated with TNF-α.
