Self-Reported Salt Behavior during Pregnancy

This dataset contains empirical data from a study examining salt-intake behaviour among pregnant women in Birjand, Iran, based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB). Data were collected from eight health centers in winter 2021 using quota sampling. After excluding 34 incomplete questionnaires, 239 participants were included in the analysis. The dataset includes measures of behavioural beliefs, outcome evaluations, normative beliefs, motivation to comply, control beliefs, perceived power, behavioural intention, and self-reported salt-intake behaviour. The data were used to illustrate and compare Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and Consistent PLS (PLSc) approaches.
