3DPrintedShapes: A Point Cloud Dataset of 3D-Printed Deformed Shapes for Quantifying Reserve Capacity of Steel Beam-columns
收藏资源简介:
3DPrintedShapes is a 3D point cloud dataset supporting automated inspection and quantitative assessment of the reserve capacity of steel wide-flange beam-columns. It comprises in-situ 3D scans of physically fabricated "steel" beam-columns exhibiting various local buckling deformations. The members were 3D printed using biodegradable filament based on numerically simulated deformed geometries of hot-rolled I-shaped steel members. The printed members were then scanned using three different scanners of different fidelities: iPad, FARO Focus, and Creaform HandySCAN3D. The dataset contains the scans of 38 deformed I-shaped member geometries, covering a wide range of deformation patterns induced by quasi-static cyclic and monotonic loading. It also covers deformed shapes of steel columns as part of steel moment-resisting frame under earthquake shaking. Detailed description of the dataset can be found in the README file.
