Comparison of wild type and Tmem184b mutant adult DRG

The goal of this study was to evaluate gene expression that is dependent upon Tmem184b expression. Our objective was to identify pathways controlled by Tmem184b that may influence development or behavior of neurons. Dorsal root ganglia were dissected from four wild type and four Tmem184b homozygous gene trap (mutant) mice, all six months of age. Total RNA was extracted and evaluated using RNAseq.本研究旨在评估依赖于Tmem184b表达的基因表达谱，并鉴定受Tmem184b调控的、可影响神经元发育与行为的信号通路。实验选用4只6月龄野生型小鼠与4只同月龄Tmem184b纯合基因捕获（突变）小鼠，分离其背根神经节，提取总RNA后通过RNA测序（RNAseq）技术进行检测分析。
