We revealed the unique molecular signature characterizing CXCL12-deficient Cxcl12-GFP+ bone marrow stromal cells. Overall design: Control: GFP+ cells were FACS-isolated from postnatal day 21 (P21) femurs of Cxcl12(GFP/fl); R26R-tdTomato mice. ?CXCL12: GFP+tdTomato+ cells were FACS-isolated from P21 femurs of Col2a1-cre; Cxcl12(GFP/fl); R26R-tdTomato mice. mRNA were amplifed by SMARTer mRNA-seq kit (Clonetech/Takara) before deep-sequenced by Illumina HiSeq4000.
