Floating marine macro litter DOORS cruise 3, 01-20 June 2024

The datasest contains floating marine macro litter (> 2.5 cm)  data obesrved during  R/V Mare Nigrum cruise #3, within 33 transects located in the Bulgarian, Turkish and Georgian  Black Sea waters, 1-20 June, 2024 in the framework H2020 DOORS Project. The file contains information for the densities of floating marine macro litter (expressed in number of items. km-2) along survey transects, locations of transects (middle of transect) and date of the observation. The floating marine macro litter densities were determined in compliance with MSFD protocol for visual observations based on fixed-width strip transect method.
