Genome-wide identification of genes involved in tolerance to isopropanol in Saccharomyces cerevisiae

We performed massive screening of the genes in yeast that were involved in the tolerance to isopropanol using the non-essential genes deleted yeast collection, and identified sixty-five disruptants that grew slower than the wild type strain in the presence of isopropanol本研究借助非必需基因敲除酵母菌株集，针对参与异丙醇耐受性的酵母基因开展了大规模筛选，最终鉴定出65株在异丙醇环境中生长速率慢于野生型菌株的基因缺失突变株。
