Rice paddy fields have been focused as a model for habitats of diverse microorganisms but still many aspects of questions, however, are remained about the indigenous microorganisms, especially the anammox bacteria in the paddy soils, and their potential roles on biogeochemical nitrogen cycle so the main goal of this study is to detect the microbial community together with the abundance of anammox bacteria.
