Data from the survey on factors determining the employment of the Gdańsk University of Technology graduates’ in the opinion of entrepreneurs

The dataset includes data from the survey on factors determining the employment of the Gdańsk University of Technology (GUT) graduates’ in the opinion of entrepreneurs. The survey was conducted in 2017. The research sample included 102 respondents representing various firms from Pomeranian Voivodship. The study concerned i.a. factors determining the decision to hire a candidate, methods of recruiting employees, methods for diagnosing the competences of candidates, and opinions on recruiting GUT graduates who do not have extensive professional experience, considering variables such as the company size and business sector. Summarizing, the entrepreneurs focus on the diagnosis of candidates’ competencies during a job interview, and have nothing against employing inexperienced graduates.
