This dataset is a Javanese translation of the OpenAssistant Conversations (OASST) dataset, translated using Metas No Language Left Behind (NLLB) model. Javanese is spoken by over 90 million people on the island of Java in Indonesia, and while it is widely spoken, its representation in current large language model (LLM) chatbots remains limited. By translating this dataset, we aim to enhance the accessibility and usability of AI technologies for Javanese speakers.
