Dataset for Stroke-Related Changes in Tonic and Phasic Muscle Recruitment During Reaching Reveal Pathway-Specific Motor Deficits by Korol et al., 2025

<b>The dataset is from </b><b>Korol et al. 2025</b><b>, please see more details there about the task and analyses.</b>The dataset consists of the principal component analysis of filtered and normalized electromyography (EMG) recordings for 12 muscles and 28 reaching directions. The dataset is grouped into Control (n = 9) and Stroke (n = 8) Groups and is saved in respective CSV files. The additional Older Adults Group includes n = 5 age-matched neurotypical adults compared to those in the Stroke Group.<b>Control Group</b><i>dbControl_PC.csv</i> consists of four columns: subject ID, reaching workspace (Rlat and Llat), PC1, and PC2.<br><i>dbControl_Score.csv</i> consists of six columns: subject ID, reaching workspace (Rlat and Llat), PC1, and PC2, muscle label, reaching direction label (from 32 to 45, in order as in Supplemental Figure 2), tonic score, and phasic score.<br><b>Older-adults Group</b><i>dbOlderAdults_PC.csv</i> consists of four columns: subject ID, reaching workspace (Rlat and Llat), PC1, and PC2.<br><i>db</i><i>OlderAdults</i><i>_Score.csv</i> consists of six columns: subject ID, reaching workspace (Rlat and Llat), PC1, and PC2, muscle label, reaching direction label (from 32 to 45, in order as in Supplemental Figure 2), tonic score, and phasic score.<br><br><b>Stroke Group</b><i>dbStroke_PC.csv</i> consists of four columns: subject ID, reaching workspace for a paretic arm(either Rlat or Llat), PC1, and PC2.<br><i>dbStroke_Score.csv</i> consists of six columns: subject ID, reaching workspace for a paretic arm (either Rlat or Llat), muscle label, reaching direction label (from 32 to 45, in order as in Supplemental Figure 2), tonic score, and phasic score.<br><br>
