The induction and maintenance of pulmonary TRM is potentially affected by the initial inflammatory conditions. We performed scRNA-seq analysis to determine if immunization- and H1N1 infection-induced lung TRM differ in their transcriptional core signatures. Overall design: Balb/c mice were either intranasally immunized with recombinant adenoviral vectors or intranasally infected with H1N1/PR8. Hashtag-labelled, CD45.2 positive, antigen- (NP-) specific lung CD8+ T cells were sorted by Fluorescence-activated cell sorting and analyzed using scRNA-seq.
