Integrated depth map (IKG100)

The basic purpose of the data layer is to define the conditions and limits for the implementation of spatial interventions and activities in areas threatened by floods. The data are also intended for the planning of flood risk reduction measures, spatial planning and spatial interventions, and information on flood conditions. The areas are determined in accordance with the procedure prescribed in the Rules on the Methodology for the determination of areas threatened by floods and associated erosion of inland waters and the sea, and on the method of classifying land into risk classes (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 60/2007). Flat spatial objects represent the ranges of small depths (Gm), where at the flow of Q100 the depth of water is less than 0.5 m, the circumference of medium depths (Gs), where at the flow of Q100 the depth of water is greater than 0.5 m and less than 1.5 m, and the circumference of large depths (Gv), where at the flow of Q100 the depth of water is greater than 1.5 m. The range of validity of the results indicates the area where these results are valid.
