Pool-Seq data for 22 Drosophila suzukii world-wide population sample

To characterize the genome response of the spotted wing drosophila (Drosophila suzukii) during the worldwide invasion of this pest insect species, we performed a whole-genome sequencing of 22 pools of individual DNAs (n=50 to 100 individual per sample) representative of populations from the native (6 populations) and invasive areas (16 populations). These data were analyzed to detect the association of genetic variants with the invasive versus native status of the sampled populations by conducting a genome-wide association study to find genes involved in adaptive processes during invasion.
