Multi-Platform LiDAR Forest Volume Estimation Dataset
收藏资源简介:
This dataset is used to study the application of multi-platform LiDAR data in forest volume estimation. The data were collected from Japanese larch trees in Dagujia Forest Farm, Liaoning Province, China. The dataset includes point cloud data from terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) and airborne laser scanning (ALS), as well as field measurement data at the tree and plot levels. The TLS data consist of 41 individual trees for TreeQSM volume estimation and 81 trees for model calibration and validation. The ALS data include 81 individual trees for model calibration and validation, and 67 plots for plot-level model validation. The tree-level data record parameters such as diameter at breast height (DBH), tree height, and volume for 41 individual trees, while the plot-level data record the stand volume per unit area for 67 plots. All data are used to validate the accuracy of the forest volume estimation model based on LiDAR.
