NSW Priority Oyster Aquaculture Areas

Oyster aquaculture areas are areas of NSW estuaries assessed\r\nfor edible oyster aquaculture. These areas were categorised by\r\nassessment of all current, former and potential leases in relation\r\nto their location, environmental and socio-economic criteria and\r\nwithin the boundaries developed in co-operation with all\r\nrelevant State government agencies, neighboring communities\r\nand the oyster industry. The areas are categorized as priority\r\noyster aquaculture areas, terminating current lease area, current\r\nleases within the national parks estate and lease area under\r\nMerimbula Airport jurisdiction
