Open data package for article "An Exploration of Clean Code Categories and Attributes in Python Open-Source Projects"

The dataset comprises the Sonar issues uncovered from several versions of 57 popular open-source Python applications. It includes the following files:curated_issues_data.xlsx - The source data of the study; this data set was initially constructed for a previous research paper.sonar_issues_count.txt - The number of SonarQube issues for each application included in the study.clean_code_categories_count.xlsx - The number of clean code category violations for each application included in the study.clean_code_attributes_count.xlsx - The number of clean code attribute violations for each application included in the study. Each clean code category in the Sonar taxonomy has multiple associated clean code attributes. This file provides a more detailed view of the data than the one above.sonar_issue_count.xlsx - The number of SonarQube issues, per Sonar rule, per application.
