16s rRNA gene sequencing data from healthy Japanese infants fecal collections.

We performed a cohort study of the influence of antibiotics taken immediately before delivery on intestinal flora in early infancy, with a focus on Bifidobacterium and Bacteroides, in 130 healthy Japanese infants. Fecal samples were collected from infants at 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months after birth, after mothers gave consent before birth in a hospital in Japan.This project presents rRNA gene sequence data obtained from fecal samples taken at 9, 12, 18, and 24 months. The accession number for the fecal samples data for 1, 3, and 6 months are PRJDB10110.
