Estimates of turbulent kinetic energy dissipation rate (epsiolon) calculated from FP07 fast thermistor (i.e. temperature) ocean glider (SG620) observations collected in the western tropical Atlantic, notheast of Barbados, in January and February 2020. Estimates are calculated following the Batchelor spectrum method (epsilon_mu) and following the Thorpe scale method (epsilon_T). SG620 was deployed from the RV Meteor during cruise M161 as part of the EUREC4A observational campaign. SG620 occupied a bowtie pattern 10 km across centred at 14° 10'N, 57° 20'W. Standard hydrographic observations collected by SG620 during this deployment are available under doi:10.5285/c596cdd7-c709-461a-e053-6c86abc0c127.
