Content-based analysis results for Threats and silvicultural management of maple tree species (Acer genus) in Boreal and temperate forest ecosystem

This data shows: 1) How do biological, environmental, and anthropogenic threats impact maple tree species' distribution, population, growth, and survival? 2) How can silvicultural management improve growth, survival, distribution, and structure of maple tree species and maple-dominated forest ecosystems? This thorough review will provide a comprehensive understanding of the ecological functionality, population and distribution threats, and management of these species at natural, plantation, urban, and agroforestry settings for various maple tree species. Additionally, it gives insight into the possible impacts of climate change-induced environmental stresses on their growth and productivity for future sustainable conservation and utilization of these key species in the temperate and boreal forest ecosystems. Finally, this study will identify directions for future research and development to support the sustainable management of maple tree species.
