资源简介:

This dataset contains the raw behavioral data and quantitative real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) results from a study investigating the effects of stress-induced gut dysbiosis on behavior and neuroplasticity in mice. The dataset supports findings from a preclinical model of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), where fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) was used to transfer dysbiotic microbiota from stressed donor mice to healthy recipients. Content Overview: Behavioral Data: Novelty Suppressed Feeding (NSF) Sucrose Spray (SS) Tail Suspension Test (TST) Elevated Plus Maze (EPM) RT-qPCR Data: Gene expression levels of Synapsin 1 (Syn1), Oligodendrocyte transcription factor 1 (Olig1), and Sox2 in prefrontal cortex and hippocampus. Metadata: includes animal IDs, group assignments (CUS, CTL, CUS-FMT, CTL-FMT), and experimental conditions. Brief Methodology: Swiss mice were subjected to a Chronic Unpredictable Stress (CUS) protocol for 28 days. Fecal samples from CUS and control animals were collected and transplanted into antibiotic-treated recipients for 21 days. Behavioral tests were conducted post-treatment. RT-qPCR was performed to assess gene expression changes in brain regions linked to stress response and neuroplasticity. File Types: Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx) with raw numerical data.
