Facts and figures. School year 2022-2023

Annual publication prepared by the Subdirectorate for Statistics and Studies of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, the purpose of which is to offer the estimated data at the beginning of the school year on the main variables of the Spanish education system: student body, centres and expenditure. It also includes other statistical information on education, as well as relevant data on European comparisons. The information presented is the result of cooperation with the statistical services of the Departments of Education of the Autonomous Communities, and of the collaboration of different Units of the Department and of the Ministry of Universities. The estimated figures in this publication are updated by the results of the statistics and are included in the corresponding sections of the website.
