Campylobacter jejuni is a microaerophilic pathogen and was thought to be sensitive to high oxygen in the surrounding environment. However, our study showed 3 distinct levels of aerotolerance, aero sensitive (AS), intermediate-aerotolerant (IAT), and hyper-aerotolerant (HAT) in Campylobacter jejuni. Therefore, to understand the genetic variation among AS, IAT, and HAT strains, whole genome sequencing was performed
