Dividing cells from the liquid endosperm of the lily Haemanthus katherinae were fixed with paraformaldehye, embedded in epoxy, and 1.0 micrometer sections prepared. Images were obtained with the Wisconsin high voltage TEM at 1MEV. For this micrograph of chromosomes at anaphase, the grid was tilted to 40 degrees. A similar micrograph tilted to 60 degrees is grouped with this image, making a stereo pair that provides an oblique 3D view.

对百合花Haemanthus katherinae的液态胚乳细胞进行固定处理，采用环氧树脂进行包埋，并制备了1.0微米的切片。利用威斯康星高压透射电子显微镜在1MEV的电压下获取了图像。在观察有丝分裂中期染色体的高分辨率显微照片中，网格板倾斜至40度。与此图像相匹配的另一张倾斜60度的显微照片被归为一组，形成了一对立体图像，从而提供了一种斜视的三维视角。
