ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN UNIVERSITY CLASSROMS: PEDAGOGICAL IMPLICATIONS AND CHALLENGES
收藏资源简介:
Abstract. Artificial intelligence (AI) has become an important part of modern higher education, transforming teaching methods, learning processes, and classroom communication. The integration of AI-powered technologies into university classrooms provides new opportunities for personalized learning, academic support, automated assessment, and the development of students’ independent learning skills. However, the use of artificial intelligence also raises several pedagogical and ethical challenges, including academic dishonesty, data privacy, algorithmic bias, and excessive dependence on technology. This article examines the pedagogical implications of artificial intelligence in university classrooms and explores its potential benefits and limitations. Particular attention is given to the role of AI in supporting teachers, improving student engagement, and developing effective educational strategies. The article also discusses the importance of digital literacy, responsible AI use, and the preservation of human interaction in education. The analysis suggests that artificial intelligence can improve the quality of university education when it is integrated thoughtfully and used as a supportive tool rather than a replacement for teachers. Therefore, universities should establish clear guidelines and provide appropriate training to ensure the responsible and effective application of AI in teaching and learning.
