Aviation industry: main purchasers of SAF 2013-2024

Since 2013, United Airlines has purchased more sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) than the other global airlines, with an offtake volume of more than 14.3 billion liters. In 2023, Boeing and Airbus invested around 3.37 billion and 3.26 billion U.S. dollars in upgrading their aircraft technologies, respectively.
